LISA'S LOST AND FOUND MOTHERS' DAY BRACELET

LISA'S LOST AND FOUND MOTHERS' DAY BRACELET
                                                     - Donna DiPietro

Lisa was a real estate agent in an office I worked at in Wellesley, Massachusetts about ten years ago. She is married with eight children. On one Mothers’ Day they presented her with a beautiful ‘Mothers’ bracelet that had all eight of their individual birthstones. Lisa loved the bracelet and wore it every day.

One day, she was at the office and told me that she could not find her bracelet and asked if I could find it. I immediately saw the letter ‘P’, a blue carpet and a desk. I told her that if she opened the bottom right hand drawer of the desk she would find her missing bracelet. She said that her home office did have a blue carpet and a desk and she would look where I said she would find her bracelet.

She went home and opened the bottom right hand drawer of her desk and saw an empty pretzel bag. She was ready to throw it away but she looked inside and saw her bracelet. She said that she probably would not have looked inside the empty pretzel bag but remembered that I mentioned the letter ‘P’. The next day, she came to work wearing her lost and found ‘Mothers’ bracelet. .

  1. Dear Donna,
Wow - that is such a nice story. You are a good friend to have around. It's almost like you're there when needed.
